My Sweet Birthday Wishlist

With only 16 days left until my 21st birthday, (what?!) I thought I'd compile a little list of some of the things I'd love to unwrap.

I'd love to grace my little feet with a  pair of Darlingtonia moccasins.  Especially this pair (they're my favorite!).  Katie's moccasins are the sweetest I've seen.

I've been obsessed with Twinkie Chan's buttered toast scarf since I first saw it a few months ago.  So cute!

L.O.V.E this cowl from Holly Knitlighly.  It looks super soft and I bet it's so toasty warm!

I just adore this style of hat, and Susannah's is perfect.  I can't get enough of that color!

My Chemical Romance's newest album, of course.  Which comes out exactly one week before my birthday, and I will be first in line to get it.  :)

And I of course need a 'Danger Days' t-shirt to wear!

This U.O. cozy polar bear sweater looks so comfy!

And last but most definitely not least...

This little spool necklace from A Little Thistle is so lovely.  The antique look would match so perfectly with my Alice In Wonderland necklace.  :)

My little list could go on and on!  There are just too many pretty things out there.

Hellooo!

Hello, everyone!  Happy Belated 4th of July!
Did everyone have a wonderful 4th?  It feels like it's been forever since I've been around.  This past week has been the busiest I've had in a long, long time.  My brother and I left last Wednesday to start getting the apartment set up.  It's the cutest little place.  Sean did such a wonderful job picking it out.  I can't wait to get a few pictures up, but I'm waiting until it's completely unpacked and decorated before I do.  But I can show you the duvet from UrbanOutfitters that is currently gracing our bed:

It's sooo cute, and so comfy! ^_^

Also, some of you have seen the journal cover I made for my 30-Day Journal. (If not, you can see it here.)  I've had a few people mention that I should think about selling my covers.  I was curious if that would be something you guys would be interested in?  I've been thinking up different designs/customizations/sizes for them, and I'll post more about them if this idea goes over well! C:

This pretty jewelry box used to not be so pretty.  It was brown and scratched, and the inside was covered in this odd orange fabric.  I covered the ring cushions, gave it a few coats of bright yellow paint, and now it's the cheeriest jewelry box I've ever laid my eyes on. C:

A Photo-A-Day...Day 2

Today's photo is of one of my most favourite snacks!  They're like Goldfish, but better! (And every whale has a smiley face, unlike Goldfish. C:)

I've completed 3 of the 5 posted prompts for the 30-Day Journal Project.  I've come to find that I'm having a bit more trouble with it than I thought I would, because I can't draw at all.  My artistic talent definitely does not lie in illustration.  But, I'm doing my best!  This project is proving to be a wonderful challenge for me artistically and creatively.  I'm having so much fun so far!
I'll see about posting my finished pages tomorrow (if I'm brave enough!).  I think I'm being a bit too hard on myself. C:

A Photo-A-Day...Day 1

I think I want to start a photo-a-day project.  I need a consistent project to work on, and I think this is one I will have time for, no matter where my life takes me over these next few months.  Plus, posting them to my blog daily will help me stay motivated. C:

A Little About Me

First off, I would like to say welcome to all of my new readers! :)

Since my last post touched on the lovely fellow that is my boyfriend, I thought it would be fun to do an "about me" post.  I love reading these posts and learning about the person behind my favourite blogs.  So, I figure why not?

To start....
Hi! my name is Allison, but everyone calls me Allie!

I'm 20 years old!  I'm originally from Texas, and currently live in Oklahoma.  (And hoping to move back to Texas veeery soon. C:)

If you read my previous posts, you know that I have a boyfriend named Sean.  He's the most amazing boyfriend in the entire world. ^_^  We like to do nerdy things together. ❤

I also have the coolest little brother.  He's almost 18, and one of the most outstanding guys I know.

I have three cats whom I adore.  This guy is Harold Houdini, named so because he disappeared on us for a while.  I also have Cupcake and Norman Bates.  Cupcake is the sweetest kitten, and Norman is, well...mean...but lovable anyway.  C:

I love to sew, scrapbook, decorate, revamp furniture, take photos, and paint ceramics.  I love to be creative in any way I can be.  I'm currently learning to embroider and do plastic canvas.  Someday I plan to learn to knit and crochet.

And for a few more fun things:

I love bright colours.

The only t.v. show I keep up with is 'Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood'. C:

I love to watch basketball.  My team was the Seattle Sonics.  They're now the Oklahoma City Thunder, but I love them just the same.

My favourite movie is Edward Scissorhands.

I am absolutely fascinated with the Titanic.

I love to be silly and play.

My favourite colours are yellow, pink, and aqua!

I could live off of ice cream and french fries. Yum!
