Hello, everyone!

I'm back, and all is well.  Thank you to everyone who left me encouraging comments and messages!  My bad news seemed to be horrible at the time, but now I think things have worked out better because of it.  And now I'm in the process of moving back to Texas.  I'm quite excited; I've waited 16 years to get back to that state.

Not too much else has happened since I last posted, besides packing packing packing!
I do also have a few journal pages to share with you all, though!

*Day 12! Prompt:  Sketch the trends you love!

*Day 13! Prompt:  List your biggest insecurities.

*Day 14! Prompt: Now that we've named our insecurites, we're to list the reasons we are beautiful and lovely.

I also finished the journal cover I had been working so hard on.  For my very first large plastic canvas project, I didn't do half-bad! C:

My next project is going to be vintage t.v. and remote coasters for the apartment.  I've been a little obsessed with vintage televisions lately.

I have a couple of little things to share in this post!  First off,

I'm finally getting the hang of creating a page, I think.  

I'm also coming along rather nicely on my journal cover.  I've been working on the back cover, and it has taken me forever!  There's 2,800 stitches on it...I believe that's what Sean figured up.  But it's totally worth all of the time and effort I'm putting into it.

Also, I mentioned a little lamp redo earlier.  Here 'tis:

A pretty little lamp, but I thought it needed a little sprucing up.

Voila!  I used some pretty fabric I found at a handmade store for $4!  Now my lamp is even prettier. ^_^

Other than that, my day was pretty uneventful.  I watched 'Alice In Wonderland' again.  I adore that story so much.
Unfortunately, this post is going to be a bit short and boring.  I'll be back tomorrow with something more interesting and fun! C:

I'm here to share with you the first 7 pages of my 30-day journal.  I've had so much fun with this so far!  The prompts are wonderful and it's so fun to see what everyone else has come up with!
I have struggled with it at times, though.  Like I mentioned earlier, I am not very good at drawing.  I'm actually incredibly nervous about posting these up for you all to see. I don't normally show people things like this.  But, this has really challenged me, and I've worked hard and put a lot of creativity into it, so here goes! C:

*Day 1!  Prompt: Introduction.

This page took me the longest!  It was fun though, trying to doodle things I never have before.

*Day 2!  Prompt: What is the best part of your day?

*Day 3!  Prompt: Use a sketch/drawing/photo of someone you love/admire, and write a letter to them.

The idea for this page came to me so quickly.  I have a tattoo of a heart similar to the sketchy one on my left wrist, and Sean always tells me how much he adores my heart.  So I knew this was perfect. C: ❤

*Day 5!  Prompt: Blogs You Love.

*Day 6!  Prompt: It's Time For...

*Day 7!  Prompt: How are you feeling today?

 So that's the first 7 pages.  I'm so excited to see what tomorrow's prompt is.  (But Sean's going to be here for the day, so I might put it off for a day. C:)

A Photo-A-Day...Day 2

Today's photo is of one of my most favourite snacks!  They're like Goldfish, but better! (And every whale has a smiley face, unlike Goldfish. C:)

I've completed 3 of the 5 posted prompts for the 30-Day Journal Project.  I've come to find that I'm having a bit more trouble with it than I thought I would, because I can't draw at all.  My artistic talent definitely does not lie in illustration.  But, I'm doing my best!  This project is proving to be a wonderful challenge for me artistically and creatively.  I'm having so much fun so far!
I'll see about posting my finished pages tomorrow (if I'm brave enough!).  I think I'm being a bit too hard on myself. C:
