I can't believe Summer (and July!) are already upon us!  It truly seems like I blinked and this year was half over.  So many good things are going to be happening this Summer, I can just feel it.  Even though it's hot, as I already mentioned, this time of year is such a treat.

Poppies // Shoppe Update

I've been not-so patiently waiting to list these Poppy Crown headbands since I first had the idea for them.  I knew that I wanted to create a flower crown of some sort, because I love them so...but I wanted to keep it simple.  And that's exactly what I did.  And I used one of my favorite flowers.

I think I'm going to make one more in orange.  Because who doesn't love orange poppies?  :]

Open For Business

I did it.  I finally did it.  After planning, designing, revising, thinking, and lots of hoping, my Etsy shoppe has opened her doors.  (I worked mighty hard on getting her window display juuust right.)

Right now, you will find a few of my headbands and Granny Hats, and I will be adding more over the next couple of weeks.  I have plenty of ideas bouncing around in this wild head of mine that I can't wait to bring to life and into the shoppe.

I stumbled upon Dig For Victory's Etsy Shoppe over a month ago and immediately fell in love.  The creator and designer behind these beautiful dresses, Eleanor Callaghan, taught herself how to cut patterns  and uses her very own childhood dress-up box as her inspiration.

This Matryoshka fabric, from BeautifulWork, is absolutely perfect!  I've been contemplating a Matryoshka doll tattoo when I have my first baby, and everytime I see an adorable one it makes me want it even more! ❤
