Our Visit To The Pumpkin Patch, Pt. 2!

Hello, dearies!  Today was a wonderful day!   We made a trip to Ikea in hopes of finding a new table for my sewing machine.  Not only did we find a new table, but we also found a new lamp for the living room, 2 new shelves, and some super adorable gnome wrapping paper.  (I just can't get over the gnome paper! So, so cute!)
And now, I'm being lazy while Sean puts the shelves together for me.  It's so funny listening to him while he works...whispering 'beautiful!' when everything lines up perfectly. :)  He truly is the most amazing fellow.  I'm such a lucky lady!

Anywho, enough nonsense.  On to part two of our pumpkin patch adventure!

The petting zoo was probably my favorite part.  There weren't very many animals...they had a baby cow, two miniature ponies, a miniature donkey, and two baby goats...but they were so, so sweet.

It was so much fun.  I'm hoping to go back again next year, and maybe start making it a tradition!

I suppose I should go assist Sean now. :)  Have a wonderful, wonderful night!
XOXO, Allie.

Our Visit To The Pumpkin Patch, Pt. 1

I've been such a terrible blogger lately!  I worked quite a bit last week, and on Friday Sean and I had a blast at the pumpkin patch.  I certainly hope I don't sound like I'm complaining too much...but my job has been wearing me out!  I've been far too tired to blog or do much of anything once I come home.  But I have tomorrow off, and just enough energy for a quick post!

As I mentioned, Sean and I visited the pumpkin patch on Friday.  It was so much fun! We couldn't find any we liked in our area, so we decided to drive up to Oklahoma.  I went to the most wonderful pumpkin patch last year, so I really talked it up to Sean. :)

We visited a little family run pumpkin patch in Shawnee, Oklahoma, called Mikles Family Farm.  They also had hay rides, a haunted walk through the corn stalks, a huge corn maze, and a petting zoo (my favorite!).  It was so perfectly picturesque.  I wish I had taken more photos than what I did (although I took a lot), but we got there just as the sun was going down.

I have so many pictures...there are just too many for one post!  I'll share part two of our adventure tomorrow! :)  As for the rest of the night, I'm going to snuggle up on the couch and watch 'Sherlock Holmes' with the Mr.  It's time for some relaxation.
Have a wonderful night, lovelies!
XO, Allie.

Hello, friends!  :)  The past couple of days have been full of creativity, and it's been wonderful.  I was rather sick on Saturday, but managed to muster up enough strength to get out of bed and work on some easy projects.
Happy.
Halloween.
All of my Halloween and Autumn decorations are at my parents house, and I couldn't stand not having a single decoration up.  So, I whipped together this super adorable bunting!  It was so much fun to make.  This was the first bunting I've ever made, and I was surprised at how easy it was.  (Although I don't know why I assumed it would be hard...)  I'll share a few more of my projects soon.  It felt so wonderful to be productive and full of creativity again.
Happy Halloween.
XO, Allie.

Fall Fashion Inspiration

I rarely post about clothes.  I love clothes, and I love putting together outfits and feeling pretty...but for some reason I just don't post about it much.
So, for this post, I've decided to share some of my favorite looks for fall.  Enjoy!

There you have it - a few of the prettiest autumn fashions.  I can't wait until the weather cools down enough to start layering shirts and cardigans, wrapping my neck up in crocheted scarves, and wearing knee-high boots over my tights.
What are your favorite fall trends?

-Also, I opened my formspring back up!  You can find it here.  Feel free to ask anything you like!-

Hope you have a great night!
XOXO, Allie.

Here's a little list of things that make autumn my f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e...

1.  Yummy apples!

2.  Pumpkins!  One of my favorite things to do is visit the pumpkin patch in search of that perfect pumpkin.

3.  Halloween, of course!

4.  The perfect combination of oranges, yellows, and reds.

5.  Stunning coats and stylish boots.

6.  Cute knee socks!

7.  Roasting marshmallows.  Yum!

8.  Sweet little black kitties.

And this fall...
9.  Season 5 of Dexter!  :)  I just can't get enough of this show!
