The good, and the not-so good...

The good:  It's 2am, and I can barely sleep.  In 17 short hours or so, I'll will be seeing my most favorite band live, for the second time.  I've waited close to 6 months for this show, (well, 4 years if we're really counting) and I can't believe it's already here.

The not-so good:  On Tuesday, Sean will be leaving for 2 weeks to go to California for some sort of training nonsense.  I know that it's only 2 weeks, but it does feel like forever.  Sometimes I don't know how I can handle being a military girlfriend, and someday, wife.
Since Sean will be leaving for 2 weeks, I will be trekking home to my parents' house.  The not-so good side to this is that Sean's laptop, the computer I use since mine has been having fits, is also broken.  I will be computer-less for the duration of my stay there.  I might be able to sneak in a post here and there, if a computer frees up for my usage.  If not, you can still follow me on Twitter and see where my adventures at home take me. :)

That's all I have for now, lovelies.  I should try to sleep..
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday!
Love, Allie.

If We Can't Find Where We Belong.

Guess what I got in the mail?

Yessir, that's right.  My tickets for the My Chem show in May.
I shall guard these with my life between now and then.

I'm hoping to have a little Christmas D.I.Y. posted either tonight or tomorrow!  ( My first D.I.Y. ever!)  So be on the lookout! :)

Art Is The Weapon

Sorry for the lack of posts!  It's been kind of a busy weekend.  I spent Friday and Saturday sewing Halloween pillows and making little journals.  I'll have pictures of those soon!
And on Sunday, Sean's mom had surgery, so we spent the day at the hospital.  She's doing great in recovery, and once she's home there will be lots and lots of girly movies and junk food eating, I'm guessing.  :)

But today I opened the mailbox to see 2 pretty packages waiting for me.  The first was for the giveaway I won on Susannah's blog.  Here's what I got:

And of course I can't forget...
This necklace was also included, but I had to put it on the second I opened it!
I received so many c-u-t-e things in this package, and my Babo is very happy to have his birdie back.  :)
Thanks, Susannah!

And in my second package, I found:
I initially wasn't sure why I received this package , or who it was even from!  (I didn't see the doily at first!)  But once I read the note left on the doily, I found out it's from a Secret Pal.  I was so surprised, because as far as I had noticed, that project had kind of gone downhill.  But thank you Holly, so very much!  It's such a lovely package!  :)

And some quick news...
-I got a new job this weekend!  (More details on that later, although it's really no big deal.)
-My Chemical Romance has released their first single off their new album.  It's been playing non-stop in my apartment. :)  You can listen to it here! ( I can go on and on, haha.)
-I'll be debuting a new blog design today or possibly Wednesday!  I decided that I need to simplify EVERYTHING for autumn, including my blog.  :)
-Remember the giveaway I had mentioned a few times?  Well, I know that I still have yet to post it, but I promise it's for a good reason.  I hope to have it up by the end of this week!

That's all for tonight.  I'm off to make brownies, and possibly more journals.
Have a wonderful night!
XO, Allie.

A Bit Of My Favorite Music...

Many of you post playlists of your favorite music, and I realized that I haven't mentioned the music I listen to much (other than HIM).   So, I've compiled a playlist of songs from my most favorite band:  My Chemical Romance.

They've been my favorite band since high school.  No matter what other genres I get into, I always gravitate back to them.  Their lyrics and the stories they tell are so enchanting.
Whether you're a fan or not, enjoy!
xoxo, Allie.
