Here and There.

Hi, friends!
I wish I could say I was back to blogging for good now, but not yet. :(  We're still waiting to get our internet up.  Yesterday was my brother's 18th birthday (Happy birthday, little brother!), so Sean and I are at my  parent's house, and here I am with a quick post!
I do have a few pictures of the apartment to share.  It's still a mess, but it's coming along nicely.

This little chair is one of my most favourite pieces we've found while thrifting.

This arrangement is above our fireplace.  The deer are so precious to me, as they were made by my grandmother.  She used to run her own ceramics shop, and while her health has forced her to close it's doors, all of her ceramics are still there.  During my last visit to her house, my family and I went into her shop for the first time in years.  I must have been about 4 or 5 the last time I was there.  Everything was exactly as I remembered; it was so sweet.  She told us that we could have anything that we wanted, and these two deer were among the things that I chose.

I'll hopefully be living in a new house within the next few months, and my mind is going crazy with ideas for decor, especially for the bedroom.  Luckily, Sean will let me decorate as I please. "As long as it's comfy," he says. :)

I love to decorate with white, aquas, and yellows.  I think I need to broaden my colour palette, though. :)
