Ouchies!

I'm sure most of you have seen this post by Kaylah of The Dainty Squid.  When I was reading it, I remember thinking 'Poor girl!  That must be so painful!!'
Weeelll, today I got to learn just how painful it is! :(

I startled my poor Dr.  Frankenstein while he was sitting in my chair, and my face became his target.  I just thought this was too funny a coincidence, since Kaylah posted about her face being mangled by her kitty just yesterday.
I have an ever so stylish bandaid across my face at the moment.  Sean says I look like Nelly.
I'm thinking of trading my bandaid in for a Hello Kitty one, though.

My next post will have something more lovely, and a little less icky.  I promise! C:

The Newest Member Of Our Family...

Hi, everyone!
I'd like you to meet the newest member of our little family...

This is Dr.  Lugosi Frankenstein.  (His name comes out of the love Sean and I have for old horror and sci-fi movies. C:)

Isn't he the sweetest little baby?  We rescued him from a PetSmart in Fort Worth, where he had been for a week and a half.  Poor thing.

He's quickly turned into our little baby.  He just roams about the apartment meowing away, and loves to sleep on top of the refrigerator.  We never realized how lonely the apartment seemed until we got him, and now he's there to greet us every time we open the door.

As I'm sure you've noticed by now, my blog has received a bit of a revamp!  A new header, two new buttons made from photos of our Seattle trip, and some new links on the side over there --->.  My little blog has been so neglected over the past month, so I thought it could use a fresh, pretty look.
We still do not have internet at the apartment.  Getting it set up has been a nightmare.  But, setting my craft room up is in full swing, and I can't wait to share a few pictures of it with you all!
I absolutely can't wait to be back!
